Practice Fields

Practice fields for your Youth Soccer teams are typically done on a first come first serve basis. Below is a collated list of available park and field spaces for teams to utilize for training. Due to cost and maintenance requirements of the grass fields, many of the games fields are not available for teams to practice on and are reserved specifically for games only. This includes the main soccer fields at Riverside Park and the Soccer Fields at the 7th ave Complex in Longview.

Riverside Park

Riverside Park has a variety of open fields and locations throughout the park that can serve as a great location for youth practices. The main soccer fields are not permitted for training purposes only for matches.

Kelso School District Fields

Kelso School District outdoor space and Soccer Fields are able to be reserved on a first come first serve basis. All reservations must be done through the KSD Reservation portal. Contact Cassondra Rosales at to inquire about field availability.

Tam O' Shanter Park

Tam O' Shanter Park has available fields next to the playground that can serve as a great space for practices. There is no marked fields and are used on a first come first serve basis between soccer, baseball, and football teams.

Roy Morse Park

Roy Morse Park has multiple open field locations available to teams on a first come first serve basis. Coaches will need to bring their own pug goals, pop-ups, and supplies for practice as there is no fully lined fields, but can serve as a great training location.
