KELSO SOCCER CLUB MEETING MINUTES: JUNE 22, 2010 Meeting called to order: 7:00 pm Minutes approved from the May 2010 meeting. Present: Morgan Aberle, Phil Dahl, Sarah Dahl, Sean Kiffe, Jennifer Murray, Linda Schulz, Josh Thompson, Nicole Vazquez, Lorla Victoriano PRESIDENT: N/A VICE PRESIDENT: Sweatshirts, blankets and umbrellas with KSC logo will be available for sale beginning with the fall jamboree. We will again have a KSC soccer camp for U6-U10 on August 18-20 from 6:-7:30PM. TREASURER: Current bills to be paid: PUD - $12.47, Qwest - $42.58, Watkins Sprayer - $346.29, Referees - $603.00, Port a potty - $161.12, Print Shop - $81.92, Sweatshirts - $198.10. MSA to approve the treasurer’s report and pay the bills as presented. DIRECTOR OF COACHES: Position open. REGISTRAR: Registration for Fall Soccer continues through July 31 at www.cowlitzyouthsoccer.com; click on Kelso link to register. Open registration dates are July 20 (5-7PM) and July 17 (10AM-12noon). Teams and coaches will be organized after registration closes. DIRECTOR OF EQUIPMENT: Still missing equipment from 12 coaches. DIRECTOR OF SPONSORS: Email will be sent out for sponsor requests. Sponsor fees are $200 (U6-U11), $300 (U12+) and $250 for a sign posted at Manasco. DIRECTOR OF FIELDS: Manasco fields are in decent condition. Lawn mower needs to be repaired. DIRECTOR OF REFEREES: Entry level certification course on July 12-17 – check out the CYSA website. COMMISSIONER’S REPORT: Cowlitz Kick-off Tournament is August 6-8, $290 per local team if registered by July 23. Check out this and soccer camp information at the CYSA website. OLD BUSINESS: N/A NEW BUSINESS: Will require copy or showing of birth certificates at Jamboree this fall. Meeting adjourned at 7:47 pm.
